support of the Institute for Local Government’s Workforce &
Civics Education pillar. This project was completed with the
encouragement, talent and personal contributions of many
professionals in civic, educational, private, and non-profit
sectors. These leaders contributed to the development of
this toolkit through their participation in focus groups,
responses to surveys, sharing resources and tools, personal
interviews, and thorough conversations with ILG staff.
